Rules

[Crawlspace]

We want everyone to join in and have a good time.  We like discussion of all kinds, but have some rules we'd like everyone to stick to.  These rules will be enforced and defined by Crawlspace and Sailor Doc.  If you have any questions about any of our guidelines or think we need to clarify, change, or add something, feel free to bring it up here or off board in e-mail.

1. Be Nice - We set up this forum to have fun and find some good chat with people who share our interest in shoujo-ai and yuri.  A heated discussion can be fun, but please don't stoop to personal attacks.  Remember, everyone has their own opinion on things and we might not always agree.  Let's just disagree in a friendly manner.

2. Don't Feed Trolls - If someone is spamming, flamming, or just generally acting in an anti-social way, let either Crawlspace or Sailor Doc know about it.  Please don't continue to post after them and encourage the behavior.

3. Warnings and Bans - Problem posters will be warned once, then banned.  Sailor Doc and Crawlspace will determine what constitues a "problem poster" if the situation arises.  If anyone feels they've been unfairly labled a "problem poster," we'll take the objection under consideration.

4. No Religion or Politics - this pretty much speaks for itself.  We've found that these two subjects cause more strife than anything else, and basically neither of us wants to deal with it.  History or Historical Figures do not count as politics or religion.  Discuss those at will.

5. No Porn/Hentai/X Rated Material/Excessive Gore - In regards to avatars and links to outside sites or material.  Lemons in fanfic are okay.  Risque is okay.  However, all avatars must be PG-13.  If something is boarderline, put a warning on the thread and we'll decide after seeing it if it crosses the line we've drawn.

6. No Spam - This is basically aimed at spammy games people play, such as "I say a word, and you say the next and 500 posts later we'll see if we have a paragraph."  Again, this is just something we don't want to deal with.  Likewise, "Name, age, gender" posts need to be confined to the introductions section.

7. There Will Be Only One... - "I'm in love with my straight best friend" thread.  If someone dines to post this, we'll sticky it and everyone who wants to can post in it.   Grin  I'm sure there will be other such topics that get the same treatment.
