I wanted to post something just to let people know we haven't abandoned the place.  It's just been a really long month for us, both with work, bad weather, and family.  We've been hitting real life nonstop with only Sundays off for awhile (Doc was on call and/or I was going into the office on Saturdays).  Then Gustav hit and we were without power for a day (we were lucky there) and cleaning up for a week.  Hannah came right on Gustav's heels and brought Doc's sister and brother in law over to stay with us for the Labor Day weekend and a bit into that week, and then work happened again.  We've been thrown off our normal rhythm, but we're starting to get back into it.  We also got a new laptop, and neither of us can remember our log ins  Embarrassed.  It's kind of embarrassing to admit, but I've got them written down and we will get them moved over to the laptop so we aren't completely dependent on the desktops.

Today, we're taking a chance that we'll be able to find gas in Alabama and going to Troy for the home opener.  Hopefully, we won't get stranded.   Grin

Oh yeah! Sounds like you have been having a lot of fun. My wife did that with her new lap top, so don't feel too bad. Sucks though.

Well, hope to hear more from the two of you after a while.

I cheat on the password thing. I keep a folder in my email so I can look them up from any computer. Now if I forget my email password........... Wink

Enjoy the game!!!!

Oi vey.  I guess when life hit you, it full out body checks you, huh? I'm glad to hear you're both ok, and here's hoping things calm down a bit for you two as well.

Don't feel bad about the password thing.  I've locked myself out of my desktop plenty of times (and it's my only computer).  Hm .. maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that.  Embarrassed

Funny thing is, I have the MOST complicated passwords...

And I have NEVER forgotten them....

EVER!

n' ways, Yeah, when life hits you, it doesn't tap you on the shoulder, it tackles ya.

Ya know, no matter how many times life throws a crowbar in the gears that keep you moving, just remember, each crowbar can be used as a weapon later on.
