I know, right? Anyone ever read Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? For those who do not know it, there is a wondrous creature called the Babelfish. When inserted into your ear, it enables you to understand any language being spoken--I want someone to invent Babelfish glasses which would enable me to read raw mangas! Maaan, if only I knew how. Millions, I'd have.

I most definately have read the HH Guide. Most awesome 4 book trilogy ever!!! What?
Anyway, Doc I really wanna know if that's a date or not and if that was Ushio's Gma at the end there. Enquiring minds wanna know!!!! You'd think 2 semesters of college Japanese & more untranslated manga & anime than is healthly would make me a better translater. I'm such a slacker.
What did you all expect? I'm a cat dangit!!! It's in my blood to be incredibly curious, but too damn lazy to actually do anything about it.

If it's any consolation, I studied French for 9 years and can't remember squat. Well, the swears. I remember those. "Merde, il pleut." Heh. Classic. It's at least the same alphabet I'm used to. *sighs and waits*

Aww, thanks I concur with the lack of Sumi-chan and Ushio. Also--Koi? The tears... does she perchance like the young Mayu and has not yet realized it? I can't help noticing that they both bear a bit of a resemblance to our primary protagonists... Some differences of course, which I am, alas, too tired to go into at the moment... But from the moment they were introduced I thought "hmm..." Now to play the waiting game for 38 in English!

Nice. In case anyone would like to read it online rather than downloading it, it has already been propagated to Homeunix Manga. http://unixmanga.com/onlinereading/Sasameki_Koto/Sasameki_Koto_c037_nas.html Anonymous works fast. Now if you'll excuse me, I must read it myself.

I really like reading it on unixmanga. Their reader is fast and easy to use.(Being able to read it at all is super great!) Now, if they'll just get the next two chapters up, I'll be a happy, happy girl! I had never really thought about similarities between the two couples. I feel bad for Koi though. She's a good person in a bad situation who still manages to not be embittered by life. I hope she finds what her mother never apparently could. Doc
